LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A mobile home on Bridgid Street was severely damaged Sunday afternoon after a generator caught on fire, according to the Lafayette Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the mobile home fire just before 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
Alton Trahan, the public information officer for the Lafayette Fire Department, said the occupants of the mobile home were in the process of moving out and a generator was being used to power the home.
The generator caught on fire and the fire spread to the mobile home, Trahan said.
No injuries were reported.
