In a bizarre incident, a fitness influencer was thrown out of a gym because of her revealing outfit. The incident took place in Brazil’s São Paulo city. Like every day, 33-year-old Jessica Freitas went to her gym for a workout, but she was approached by a gym worker just minutes after she started exercising. As per Jessica, the gym employee called her favourite sportswear “embarrassing” because it “revealed too much.”

Jessica stated that she was not even given a chance to say anything in her defence. The Brazilian influencer said she was discriminated against, claiming that other women in the gym dressed the same but “weren’t subjected to the same restrictions”.

Jessica claimed that the worker was “on the lookout for any little thing” because of which she felt “watched and pressured”. The 33-year-old influencer said that she was not causing any discomfort to anyone by recording the video.

The influencer’s gym outfit consisted of a black sports top and tight pink shorts.

“I wasn’t naked or anything like that. I only went to train as I felt most comfortable. There were other girls there training in shorts and bra tops like me and they weren’t told to leave,” The Mirror quoted Jessica as saying.

Freitas was quite displeased with the gym staff, painting them as folks stuck in bygone times and hypocrites masking their ill intent. She drew parallels from her situation to a woman unfairly driven off a beach for simply donning a bikini. The social media personality stressed, “This incident has been a blow to my credibility. I had no intentions of showing off or stirring up any trouble.”

The influencer has 180,000 followers on Instagram. She shared a post on October 27 in her ‘controversial’ outfit with the caption which read – “Complain all you want, it doesn’t pay my bills.”

However, Jessica Freitas received a call from the gym’s manager on the other day of the incident. They managed to resolve their differences in a peaceful manner. As a result, Freitas made it clear that she was quite happy about going back to the gym.
