'Fight harder': Alex Jones 'ready for the civil war' after Trump's Sunday speech
Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones encouraged his followers to "fight harder" and be ready for "civil war conditions" after former President Donald Trump gave a campaign rally speech over the weekend.
During Trump's Sunday morning speech in Pennsylvania, he suggested that he should not have left office after losing the 2020 presidential election and called for assassins to target members of the news media.
"And I was just watching President Trump in Pennsylvania," Jones told his audience on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). "And he was pissed, going through all the evidence of election fraud."
Jone argued that Democrats "intended to steal" the election from Trump.
"And so all they've put Trump and America through, you know they're not gonna just give up easily after the impeachments and the Russian collusion crap and all the fake indictments and the lawfare," he explained. "This is common sense. So I'm saying be ready for the Civil War conditions and not certifying it."

"Trump is starting to get it, and was talking about all this just minutes ago," he continued. "But for all you on my ass, claiming that I was trying to demoralize people. No, it's the opposite."
"I'm saying fight harder in the election. Vote harder, get more people to vote. And Trump now sounds just like me."
