Indonesian President as Republic Day chief guest may boost BrahMos exports

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto could attend the 2026 Republic Day as chief guest, potentially boosting the defence partnership with India, including the export of BrahMos missiles. An Indonesian military contingent has initiated engagement with Indian counterparts for the Republic Day parade, marking the fourth time an Indonesian president will be chief guest.
