Portals of Kedarnath closed

The portals of Kedarnath temple closed for winters on Sunday, following Vedic rituals. Over 18,000 pilgrims attended the closure ceremony. During the yatra season, more than 16.5 lakh pilgrims visited Kedarnath. The idol of Lord Shiva was moved to the Omkareshwar temple for winter worship.
