Travis Kelce’s Boudoir Advice to a Fan Has Some Swifties Doing a Double Take

There are a lot of reasons Taylor Swift is so enamored with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The pop star reportedly feels a safety she hasn’t felt with previous partners, and the two have spent exorbitant amounts of cash in the name of romance, with Kelce whisking Swift away on romantic getaways in Europe during down days on her Eras Tour, and Swift teaming up with his family to throw a star-studded 35th birthday bash for the Super Bowl champion. 

On the Oct. 31 episode of the “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted by Travis and his brother Jason, the duo tackled a listener’s dilemma that had many Swifties doing a double take. A man in his 50s called in, seeking advice on how to handle a dry spell in his marriage, where his wife had lost interest in intimacy. The caller, committed to fidelity, was unsure how to reignite the spark.

“I will personally mention that I have no idea what that’s [like],” Travis laughed before launching into some advice: “Try role play one night, you know, see if she’s up for that. Go to Spencer’s and get some f***ing sex stuff, man, I don’t know.” 

While his suggestion might raise eyebrows — after all, who is shopping at Spencer’s for couple’s bedroom toys when there are so many incredible options online? — the suggestion of role-play can’t be too off the mark for Swift, who is always embodying a role, be it on stage or through her off-duty looks that contain Easter eggs for fans. Her knack for dramatic and playful engagement is something Travis seems to appreciate and mirror in his advice.

But Travis didn’t stop at humor. He also offered more heartfelt advice, suggesting, “Maybe just try to get some candles, get some rose petals, try and be a little romantic. Maybe you just gotta rekindle that flame or something, get that thing going. Take her to a nice restaurant.”

When asked about recognizing a solid relationship, Travis shared, “I feel like [it’s] when you know someone’s life. When you see someone’s day-to-day and you can understand that, and you get into a routine of being with that person or talking to that person about their daily routines consistently. You naturally just feel the genuine connection,” adding, “Family is a good [sign]. When you get introduced, that’s huge. That’s a next step kind of thing, for sure.”

As for their next steps, Swift’s close relationship with the Kelce family is well-documented, fueling engagement rumors alongside  their shared plans of adding another cat to the family and diving into a joint venture with a liquor business.
