THRC takes suo-motu cognisance against incidents of atrocities against women in state

The Tripura Human Rights Commission has taken suo motu cognisance of three recent cases of atrocities against women, including severe torture and forced marriage. The commission has directed authorities to investigate and submit reports on these incidents within two to three weeks.
