Badenoch elected new leader of UK Conservative Party

LONDON: “Anti-woke” candidate Kemi Badenoch on Saturday won the vote to become the UK Conservatives’ new leader, replacing Rishi Sunak who quit after the party’s disastrous showing in July’s general election.
