IND v NZ 3rd Test: Rishabh Pant makes Splendid record with half-century against New Zealand

On Day 2 of the 3rd and final Test match between India and New Zealand in Mumbai, Rishabh Pant was at his best point, and helped Indian team in chasing the total posted by New Zealand and move out of the difficult phase.

Pant and Shubman Gill made a beautiful partnership and made way for India out of the low phase and put pressure on New Zealand.

Rishabh pant reached his 50 in just 36 deliveries in this Test match, which set a new Indian record. Rishabh Pant broke this record which was previously on the name of Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored a fifty in 41 deliveries.

On top of this fifty in general, Rishabh Pant also has the record for the fastest fifty by an Indian batter, as he scored a 28-ball half-century in Test cricket against Sri Lanka in 2022. The all time best record is held by former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq, in 21 ball against Australia.
