Chicago police charge alleged antisemitic shooter with hate crime after Jewish community backlash

The suspect who allegedly shouted 'Allahu Akbar' during a shootout with police after shooting a Jewish man on his way to a Chicago synagogue was charged with a hate crime days after Jewish leaders and groups slammed the authorities for failing to do so
