Teen arrested in connection with deadly shooting of 16-year-old in Harlem
HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) – A 15-year-old boy has been arrested following the deadly shooting of another teenager in Harlem on Oct. 24.
The 15-year-old was taken into custody Thursday evening and faces charges of second-degree murder.
Clarence Jones, 16, was fatally shot in the chest around 1:40 a.m. at West 124th Street and Lenox Avenue on Oct. 24. He was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital.
It has not yet been made clear what led up to the shooting or whether the teens knew each other.
