Let's be honest Karetaker ,all sport in this country loses out big time to football in tv coverage & revenue terms. The first sport little Johnny or Jenny hear about on the news or sports programmes is football. Everything except soccer , in terms of tv coverage, is pushed to the margins.
On another thread , the lack of homegrown talent in RL is talked about along with the quick fix of southern hemisphere ,usually substandard ,imports. The same is true of our football Premier League clubs who rely on overseas players to compete on the European stage.
