Who is Alison Hammond’s son Aidan?
ALISON Hammond has become one of the UK’s leading presenters thanks to top hosting jobs on show’s like This Morning and Bake Off.
But the sought-after star’s greatest joy is being mum to her beloved son, Aidan.
Born on February 5, 2005, Alison Hammond welcomed her son Aidan on her 30th birthday.
Previously speaking about their son’s birth, the TV star joked: “He was there.
“He was loving it!
“He hadn’t bought me a present, so I was a bit miffed because I was like, ‘I can’t believe it’s my birthday and you haven’t even bought me flowers or a card!”
Raising Aidan
The TV star shares her child with her ex-finance Noureddine Boufaied, a cab driver who hails from Manchester.
The pair dated in the early noughties until around 2014, but remained friends and successfully co-parented Aidan.
Speaking on This Morning, Alison said: “I felt that failure with my son’s dad when we broke up but he moved on and has three other kids now and they are part of our life.”
She also revealed how “thankful” she is that they were able to successfully co-parent him.
The Great British Bake Off star always speaks fondly of her ex, and refers to him as a “lovely man with a beautiful smile”.
Both Alison and Noureddin have a strong relationship with their son Aidan.
He is the TV’s star’s only child, but her ex-fiance has three more children, so Aidan has three half-siblings.
Keeping Aidan grounded
In May 2024, Alison revealed how despite her fame and fortune, she tries to keep her son grounded and even charges him rent.
Speaking on the Parenting Hell podcast, the presenter said: “It’s brilliant, I’ve gone to a new level.
“Wait for it… he’s paying rent.
“It’s a nice base to begin, and it’s regular, and he’s okay paying it.
“I thought he’d be a bit funny about it.”
Becoming DJ
In the summer 2024, Aidan landed a gig as a DJ at a festival, and Alison couldn’t be prouder.
He showed off his skills at the famous Camp Bestival.
“DJing was always his passion,” she added to the podcast.
“So I said, ‘You know what, in life, you should do something where you love it.”
Supporting mum
In November 2024, Alison revealed how Aidan gives her advice on her relationship with her boyfriend.
It came when the presenter shared an insight into her relationship with David Putman.
In a sneak peek to her appearance on Romesh Ranganathan‘s Parents Evening, she revealed how her son gives her advice when it comes to love.
Speaking to Aidan, she said: “When it comes to relationship advice you’re very good!”
She added: “But when it comes to career advice I’m not sure!”
