Fortnite Remix Chapter 2 start time – when do the next live event and season begin?

FORTNITE’s next season is just around the corner, but first players are getting the Fortnite Remix: The Prelude event.

Fortnite Remix will bring back content from Chapter 2 of Fortnite, much like Fortnite OG did for Chapter 1 last year.

Here’s when the next event in Fortnite starts and when to expect the new season and the live event that preceds it.

Fortnite Remix: The Prelude live event start time

The Fortnite Remix: The Prelude event begins today, November 1, 2024, at 6:30pm ET / 10:30pm UK time.

The countdown to the event has already started, and you can check it out in the Fortnite lobby or in-game, at Restored Reels.

Details about the event are scarce, but Epic Games has teased Rift Butterflies in promos on Twitter/X.

As with other live events, you should be able to join The Prelude 30 minutes ahead of the event’s start time.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix season start time

New seasons in Fortnite are usually timed to start in the early morning for US players, and Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix, also known as Chapter 5 Season 5, should begin on November 2, 2024, at 4am ET / 8am UK time.

As usual, there will be a downtime period of a couple of hours to deploy the update.

Downtimes for a new Fortnite season can sometimes take longer if unforeseen issues arise during the update.
