Pineville Police officer arrested for domestic abuse
PINEVILLE, La. (WNTZ) - On October 30, 2024, at approximately 9:30 PM, a walk in complaint was made at the Tioga Substation in reference to a domestic disturbance that occurred in the 4000 block of Rigollette Road, Pineville.
According to the victim, a verbal altercation resulted in a battery being committed on them in addition to a firearm being discharged.
Patrol Deputies took the initial report and made contact with the suspect, identified as Lacy Ann Fields, 30 of Pineville, at the residence. Sheriff’s Detectives and Crime Scene Unit also responded to conduct their investigation. Through their investigation, Detectives were able to establish sufficient probable cause that supported the victim's allegations.
Fields was taken into custody without incident and placed under arrest for domestic abuse battery and aggravated assault with a firearm. Fields was transported and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center where she was released earlier today on a $25,000.00 bond.
