IPL 2025: Most expensive player retentions revealed

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises have announced their player retentions ahead of the 2025 mega-auction, with significant spending on key players. Punjab Kings retained only two players and hold the largest budget of Rs 110.5 crore. Heinrich Klaasen and Virat Kohli are among the highest retentions, valued at Rs 23 crore and Rs 21 crore respectively.
