The former DPOY is still an immense problem to deal with.

The Golden State Warriors had a tough battle ahead of them when they faced off with the New Orleans Pelicans on the second night of a home and home back-to-back. The Warriors had already stolen the game the night before after being down 20 despite lacking the services of greatest player alive Stephen Curry and fellow former All-Star Andrew Wiggins.

And yet somehow, the Dubs did it again, knocking off the Pelicans in the second game to complete the sweep of the two game tilt. Incredible!

It couldn’t have been accomplished without the efforts of their other former All-Star, Draymond Green. He had a stellar night on his veteran legs, scoring 14 points, grabbing 4 boards, dishing out 6 dimes, grabbing 1 steal, and delivering 5 rejections. Those five blocks were one short of his career high of six, and it came in large part while dealing with the force of nature that is New Orleans’ Zion Williamson.

This marked the 10th time in the former defensive player of the year’s career that he had a game with at least 5 blocks with 6 dimes. The ability to be a defensive enforcer while quarterbacking the offense is a rare feat, and it’s why he’s a future Hall-of-Famer.
