Massive hit to India as Superstar Player will be put to rest for 3rd Test against New Zealand
India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is going to be absent from the 3rd and final Test against New Zealand which will begin from November 1 in Mumbai. As per a report, Indian team management has decided to prioritise Bumrah’s fitness for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Tests against Australia.
Indian team has already lost 2 matches of the series, which has marked the first loss for the team in 12 years. Considering the workload of Bumrah, the team management has decided to put him to rest for the final Test.
Even though Bumrah attended the whole training session for the final Test in Mumbai, he returned to Ahmedabad the same night.
The team will now focus to prepare for the Australia tour set to begin November 22. Since Bumrah has been put to rest, the Indian team focuses on ensuring his peak fitness and performance in the future series.
