Safe and Considerate Driving course

Has anybody taken one of these? I've been invited to do one, but can't find any info about it other than it takes a very specific 7 hours and 5 mins, 09.00 - 16.05.
Looks like part classroom and part practical, since they asked me if I preferred manual or automatic.
