Two men stabbed, one fatally at a party in Huntington Station: police
HUNTINGTON STATION, Suffolk County (PIX11) -- Two men were stabbed at a party in Huntington Station early Sunday morning, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. at 58 1/2 Lowndes Ave.
Police responded to a 911 call about a stabbing and located the two men. Justino Alfaro-Avila, 29, was taken to Huntington Hospital and pronounced dead.
The second man, a 39-year-old, was treated at a local hospital and released.
Investigations into the fatal stabbing are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide Squad at (613) 852-6392.
