In Surat, a 48-year-old man allegedly abducted and raped a 3-year-old girl during a religious event in Pandesara. The child was taken to the man's home while her mother briefly left to attend to a sibling. The police quickly apprehended the accused, Pramod Gaud, and the girl is now safe.
