Wall Street Rising Stars: Photos from Business Insider's celebration of finance's finest

0
Rising stars of Wall Street, past and present, mingling at the Business Insider event.
  • Since 2017, BI has highlighted up-and-comers in banking, trading, and asset management.
  • Wall Street's rising stars gathered to celebrate the list's latest class last week.
  • Take a look at who came and what they're up to.
Since our first list of Wall Street's rising stars was published in 2017, we've uncovered more than 230 up-and-comers who we feel represent the future of the highly competitive financial-services industry.
We marked the occasion with a party where stars gathered with their peers at Axel Springer’s offices, the New York City base for BI’s parent company, earlier this month.
The individuals who have made the Wall Street rising star list over the years had a chance to meet and, in some cases, catch up with old colleagues and longtime peers.
Corey White, an investment banker at Bank of America, chatted with Alex Nicoll, a senior reporter at BI and others.

Chicago-based White is a director on BofA's emerging growth and regional coverage team.

Chi Chen, a BlackRock managing director and portfolio manager, met with BI deputy editor Jeffrey Cane.

Craig Kolwicz, a managing director at Moelis, joined the festivities.

The mergers and acquisitions banker has advised on nearly 50 deals across various industries.

Apollo principal Austin Anton gathered with his counterparts on the 2024 list.

Anton's deal experience varies across industries from insurance to agriculture.

Alissa Song, an investor on KKR's industrials portfolio team, talked to senior reporter Bianca Chan.

Song is on KKR's industrials portfolio team and has been a key player in the firm's employee-ownership program.

Daniela Cardona, an RBC investment banker in the communications, media, and entertainment space, was in attendance.

Cardona, 29, is also putting together initiatives to mentor young Latinos aspiring to be dealmakers.

Matthew Eid-Holm, a principal at Ares Infrastructure Opportunities, also joined the scene.

The 32-year-old focuses on digital assets, including data centers.

Cardona caught up with Erica Wilson, a private credit investor at Blue Owl (left).

Alexander Tingle, a technology, media, and telecom investment banker at Goldman Sachs, reunited with Kolwicz, a former coworker.

Tingle made the list in 2020, when he was 27 and at UBS.

Also part of the mix was Tian Zeng (middle) who leads a fixed-income macro fund and crypto fund.

Zeng appeared on the list in 2018.

BI's own Christine Ji, Anthony DeMaio, Joe Ciolli, and Amanda Yen posed for a photo.
