New Orleans officials issue traffic advisory ahead of Taylor Swift concerts
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — ASM Global New Orleans will be issuing a traffic advisory ahead of the expected traffic around the Caesars Superdome on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, for the Taylor Swift "The Eras Tour" concerts.
According to a release from ASM Global, guests with pre-paid passes can park on-site, while those without passes will need to find alternative transportation or park off-site.
There will be a designated zone for dropping off, picking up and rideshare services. Fans should expect rideshare services to "geo-fence pick-up and drop-off locations to this zone."
The zone will reportedly be at Duncan Plaza, located at 343-349 Loyola Ave., from Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 a.m., to Monday, Oct. 28 at 7 a.m. There will be street signage to identify the drop-off and pick-up zone. There will be directional signage to help guests get to and from the Superdome from there. The zone won't be active for the Pelicans game on Oct. 23.
On-site parking will be based on a one-time vehicle entry. Parking will be first-come first-serve in Champions Garage on Oct. 23 and 24, with cashless payment only. Parking is sold out on Oct. 25 and 26, but there is still some availability on Oct. 27.
More information and updates can be found on the Superdome's social media or website. Click here for the event's FAQs.
