Police respond to bomb threat in school

Police were mobilised on Thursday to respond to a reported “bomb threat” in a school in Nicosia.

According to the Cyprus News Agency, the threat was called in to a secondary school in the capital.

The police said “all the appropriate actions foreseen in these cases are being taken” to protect the students and staff, and that on-site investigations into the matter are ongoing.
