Ethiopian athletes win Amsterdam Marathon

THE HAGUE, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- Ethiopian athletes Tsegaye Getachew and Yalemzerf Yehualaw won the Amsterdam Marathon for men and women events respectively on Sunday.

Getachew secured his second Amsterdam Marathon victory with a time of 2:05:38. Despite a near-mishap where he almost took a wrong turn just before entering the Olympic Stadium, he quickly made up for his mistake. Close behind him were fellow Ethiopi
