LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who is wanted on numerous charges in connection with an investigation in which one pound of fentanyl and two pounds of meth were seized, according to authorities.
The sheriff's office said they are searching for 32-year-old Jevon Lively. He is wanted on the following charges:
- Possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl
- Possesion with the intent to distribute meth
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses
- violation of uniform CDS law
- drug-free zone
- possession of CDS in the presence of a minor
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office at 337-232-9211.
According to a news release, the narcotics that were seized were located around 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday in the 200 block of Bridgeway Drive. Investigators said more than $24,000 in U.S. currency was also seized.
