Xavier Worthy lost a friendly wager to Mecole Hardman over Georgia beating Texas

Georgia beating Texas over the weekend helped Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman win an amicable wager with one of his teammates.

Hardman, a former Georgia Bulldog, won a bet with fellow Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy, a former Texas Longhorn, over the final result.

The payout for Hardman? Having Worthy wear a Georgia t-shirt around the Kansas City facility on Tuesday.

If you’re a Bulldogs fan, this is just icing on the cake to see a former Texas player wear a Georgia shirt as part of a lost wager. If you’re a Longhorns fan, you might want to look away.

This is all in good fun, but we’re sure Worthy thought he’d be winning this bet before this past Saturday’s upset.
