Police arrest suspect accused of killing gas station clerk

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City Police say they have now arrested a man accused of killing a metro-area gas station clerk during an early morning robbery last Friday.

According to OKCPD, authorities arrested 23-year-old Anthony Gonzalez on Tuesday afternoon near NW 85th and N County Line Road. Gonzalez was arrested by OKCPD and the U.S. Marshall's Task Force.

Gonzalez is expected to be interviewed and booked into jail on complaints of robbery and first degree murder in connection to the death of 18-year-old Jaedynn Anthony.

Anthony was stabbed to death while working an overnight shift on Friday at the 7-Eleven off of Wilshire and Council, which is just 1.2 miles from where Gonzalez was arrested.
