Seventh Son Brewing Co. to open pizza truck at Antiques on High

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Seventh Son Brewing Co. is planning to launch a pizza concept at one of its sister locations in the Brewery District this fall.

The Pizza Box is a food truck opening outside of Antiques on High, located at 714 S. High St. TJ Gibbs, the owner of Short North pizzeria Paulie Gee's, will be partnering with the brewing company for their venture into the pizza business, according to Seventh Son owner Collin Castore.

Antiques on High needed a food option that could consistently stay open later into the night, Castore said. The food trucks that typically operate outside of the brewery will remain on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but The Pizza Box will take over Thursday through Monday.

"We love all the food truck folks we work with, but just kind of wanted to take a little bit more control and be able to offer people kind of a good experience," Castore said.

Despite the partnership with Paulie Gee's, the truck will offer pizza in a slightly different style, according to Castore. He said the pizza will have firmer crust with less of a flop to it.

"We're really trying to focus on just good quality ingredients and kind of unique dough, and come up with some great pizza from it," Castore said.

The menu will feature a variety of pizzas, including a pickle pie with feta ranch made in-house. It will also sell appetizers, salads, and sandwiches made from pizza dough.

Dine-in, carryout and third-party delivery service will be available at The Pizza Box. It's set to open in the first week of November.
