Bahamas to host Caribbean Baseball Cup 2024

The Andre Rodgers National Baseball Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas, will host the VI Caribbean Baseball Cup from October 23 to 28. The WBSC sanctions the six-team event.

World No. 9 and defending champions Cuba, last year’s runner-up and No. 29 Curaçao, two-time champions and No. 12 the Dominican Republic, No. 66 US Virgin Islands, first-year team St. Maarten, and the hosts and No. 47 The Bahamas will play a single round-robin.

After five games, the third and fourth-place finishers will play for bronze, and the first two teams will compete for the title on Monday, October 28.

The Andre Rodgers Stadium has synthetic turf and can seat 5,000 fans. All the games of the Caribbean Baseball Cup will be broadcast live online through the R1LIVE pay-per-view platform.

The VII Caribbean Baseball Cup is scheduled for 2025. It will serve as a qualifying event for the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.
