ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Good morning and happy Monday! Meteorologist Kevin Appleby says there will be a lot of sunshine, with temperatures in the high 70s with milder temperatures throughout the night.

The UAlbany Police Department is investigating an attack on campus while the Albany Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened early Sunday morning on North Pearl Street. Also, early voting begins this weekend. These stories, and more are in your five things to know this Monday.

1. Early voting locations in the Capital Region, Hudson Valley

With the general election just over two weeks away on November 5, early voting will start on Saturday, October 26, and run until Sunday, November 3.

2. Police investigate attack on UAlbany campus

University at Albany’s University Police Department is investigating an attack that happened on campus around 4 p.m. on Saturday. Police announced that the assault happened at the Campus Center food court on the Uptown Campus; one man is being treated for his injuries.

3. Cohoes father and son join Adirondack 46ers

Last weekend, Logan and Eric Galarneau became members of the Adirondack 46ers after they successfully summited the 46 high peaks of the Adirondacks. It took the duo 13 months to complete the challenge.

4. Albany Police investigating homicide on North Pearl Street

The Albany Police Department announced it is investigating a homicide that happened on North Pearl Street. Police say it happened early Sunday morning.
