Over 70 killed in Israeli airstrike on Gaza, including women and children

Foreign media have reported that at least 73 people, including women and children, were killed in an Israeli attack on the city of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

Al Jazeera confirmed early Sunday, October 20, that Israeli airstrikes in northern Gaza have resulted in the deaths of dozens of civilians, citing health officials in the Gaza Strip.

According to the report, following the Saturday night bombardment, at least 73 Palestinians, including children, were killed in Beit Lahia, with dozens more injured and many still trapped under the rubble.

The rising civilian death toll from Israeli airstrikes has sparked widespread international concern. Civilian casualties have also been reported from southern Lebanon and the Beirut suburbs.
