Detective who worked on wrongful conviction case says review of 1973 homicide could face challenges

Now-retired Winnipeg Police Service detective Andrew Mikolajewski helped review the investigation into the 1981 killing of 16-year-old Barbara Stoppel, in which Thomas Sophonow was wrongfully convicted. He says if that case is any indication, police could face challenges in a similar review into the 1973 killing of Ting Fong Chan, after the three men convicted of murdering Chan were exonerated.
