Reneé Rapp graced the red carpet at the fourth annual Academy Museum Gala held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures tonight in Los Angeles.

The “Snow Angel” songstress shined in a pair of classic white pumps. Simple but impactful, the star’s footwear choice featured white glossy leather uppers, triangular pointed toes and stiletto heels. Similar styles to Rapp’s own can be purchased from top brands like Prada, Area, Christian Louboutin, Loewe and The Row, among others.

The neutral footwear offered the performer’s look a blank canvas, allowing Rapp and her stylist ample space to build an outfit on. The shoe choice perfectly matched her neutral-centric look for the night. Whether black, white or beige, pumps are a classic shoe worn and re-worn by just about every celebrity and public figure since the dawn of time. The silhouette boasts longevity, given it has managed to stay in favor even as more flashy silhouettes are released.

The Broadway star partnered her white pumps with a silky slip in a maxi length, also in white. Worn overtop, Rapp sported a sheer white and black shrug fixed with billowing sleeves. As for accessories, she settled on silver jewelry fixed with high-shine gemstones.

Rapp’s shoe style is edgy and casual. The “Sex Lives of College Girls” star often wears Converse and Air Jordan sneakers, as well as Dr. Martens boots. For more formal occasions, Rapp can also be seen in block and stiletto-heeled black boots in a wide variety of silhouettes.

The Academy Museum Gala is a star-studded event held annually to help raise funds to support museum exhibitions, education initiatives and public programming. These public programming fixtures include screenings, K–12 programs and access initiatives in service of the public and the local community of Los Angeles. This year’s honorees include Paul Mescal, Rita Moreno and Quentin Tarantino. The event is sponsored by Rolex.
