Teen kayaker rescued after spending 12 hours lost at sea off Hawaii's coast

A 17-year-old kayaker spent about 12 hours clinging to his kayak after becoming separated from his high school group, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. Coast Guard video shows the moment he was rescued by an off-duty lifeguard who happened to be nearby. NBC News' Maggie Vespa has the story.
