Pregnant Katherine Schwarzenegger & Chris Pratt Want the Sex of Baby No. 3 To Be a Surprise: ‘We Don’t Know!’
Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt are keeping mum about the sex of their third baby-to-be for a very good reason: they don’t know! The Guardians of the Galaxy alum revealed that they want to find out if baby number three is a girl or a boy at the birth instead of doing a pregnancy sex reveal.
Pratt, who shares daughters Eloise, 2, and Lyla, 4, with Schwarzenegger and son Jack, 12, with ex Anna Farris, appeared on an Oct. 17 episode of Today. Co-host Savannah Guthrie asked if Pratt and Schwarzenegger were expecting a boy or a girl, and he replied, “We don’t know!”
“We’ve got two girls,” he explained. “I’ve got my son Jack, and then the two girls. So we don’t know, we’ll wait. We wait and we’re surprised on the day.”
Pratt’s The Electric State co-star Millie Bobbie Brown interjected: “And he’s not lying, I can tell. He really doesn’t know.”
“I have a feeling,” Pratt added. “I have an intuition, but I won’t say what it is in case I’m wrong and then the child sees this piece and that’s confusing to them. So one day, child, you’ll know I knew. I knew exactly who you were,” he added as everyone laughed.
Rumors swirled that the Good Night, Sister author was expecting a girl after her The Garfield Movie star shared a photo of his wife dressed in pink at what looked like her baby shower.
“Greatest party planner in history!” he captioned the photo, which included pink balloons and other pink decorations in the background. It just goes to show that color schemes don’t have to mean anything (it could just be because she loves pink! Or it may not have been her baby shower at all.)
Whether or not the new addition is a boy or a girl, little Eloise is already planning her transition from youngest to middle child. Schwarzenegger shared a cute photo of her 2-year-old dressed in an all-pink outfit with a white cap that has “big sis” embroidered on the front.
