Jennifer Lopez Is ‘Seeing Red’ as Ben Affleck Finally Takes a Cue From Her Playbook Post-Divorce.

While Jennifer Lopez has suitors like Drake waiting for her to be ready to start dating again, it might take a hot second, given how she is “seeing red” as her ex Ben Affleck navigates his life following the split. 

The “On The Floor” singer is reportedly isn’t too thrilled with Affleck’s glow-up since filing divorce papers back in August. During their brief marriage, Affleck reportedly fell into a “toxic pattern,” and struggled with personal issues. He often sported a scruffier look while with Lopez — complete with Dunkin Donuts coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other. But since the two have parted, he has been cleaning up his look and diet — something that Lopez reportedly begged him to do while they were together. 

“Ben is suddenly going out of his way to pamper himself and look his absolute best. He’s dying his hair, getting manicures and pedicures, waxing, and even seeing a dermatologist for skin treatments,” a source told InTouch Weekly. 

Affleck’s new regimen doesn’t stop there. “His diet’s cleaner now. He’s cut out a lot of junk food,” the insider revealed, marking an end to his days as the unofficial Dunkin’ Donuts ambassador. This new dedication to self-care has not gone unnoticed by Lopez, who is reportedly frustrated and hurt. “As you can imagine, J. Lo is seeing red,” the source continued, “because these are all the things she wanted him to do when they were together and he totally refused.”

“It feels like a total slap in the face because it’s sending this message that she wasn’t worth making these changes for, but now that he’s single and looking to impress new women, he’s willing to step it up and stop being such a slob,” the insider added. 

Lopez’s friends and family are rallying around her, reminding her that Affleck’s changes are a reflection of his own issues — not necessarily a personal jab at her. “Everyone is telling her he’s just a middle-aged fool who didn’t deserve her, but she’s seething and feeling pretty let down too,” the insider said.

Here’s hoping the two are able to continue moving forward in a way that is best for both of them and their kids — glow-up or otherwise.
