Boeing offers 35% pay hike over four years to end machinists' strike

A union representing striking machinists at Boeing announced that members will vote Wednesday on a new contract proposal that includes a 35% pay increase over four years, potentially ending a month-long strike involving around 33,000 workers, primarily in Washington state. The strike, which began on September 13, has halted production of Boeing's 737 MAX and widebody aircraft.
