Over 30 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks
International media have reported that at least 33 people were killed and 58 others wounded as a result of Israeli attacks on several homes in Jabalia.
Reuters reported on Friday, October 18, that Israeli forces targeted the largest refugee camp in Jabalia.
Gaza officials have warned of rising casualties from these attacks, emphasizing that children are among the victims.
According to Reuters, residents of the camp stated that Israeli tanks destroyed roads and houses in the area.
Previously, the Gaza Health Ministry had reported that at least 39 people were killed across Palestine in the past 24 hours due to Israeli attacks.
Israel has not commented on these latest attacks yet.
Meanwhile, Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip continue amid warnings of escalating conflict in the Middle East.
In the latest incident, Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas, was killed by Israeli strikes in Gaza.
Israel holds Sinwar responsible for the October 7 attack on Israel and has emphasized that his death may provide a new opportunity for a ceasefire and the release of Israeli hostages.
The ongoing conflict in Gaza continues to claim lives, with no sign of resolution, as both sides suffer heavy losses amidst an escalating humanitarian crisis.
