A pair of the top offensive performers in college football will be on display when wideout Ricky White and the UNLV Rebels (5-1) take on Anthony Hankerson and the Oregon State Beavers (4-2) on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
The Rebels enter the matchup after winning 50-34 over the Utah State Aggies in their last outing on Oct. 11. Last time out, the Beavers lost 42-37 to the Nevada Wolf Pack. Hajj-Malik Williams had 233 yards on 13-of-20 passing (65.0%) for the Rebels in that matchup against the Aggies, with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also added 14 carries for 65 yards. Jai’Den Thomas rushed for 139 yards on 17 carries (8.2 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding one reception for nine yards. White led the receiving charge against the Aggies, catching seven passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Gevani McCoy went 27-for-42 with 348 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions for the Beavers against the Wolf Pack. In that matchup, Hankerson had a 28-carry, 154-yard game (5.5 yards per attempt) with three touchdowns. He also added three receptions for 11 yards . Trent Walker caught seven passes on 12 targets for 96 yards (13.7 yards per reception), and scored one touchdown.
