Taylor: Communication Is Key
Linzi Taylor insists that “communication is key” as the Hibees ready themselves for this weekend’s visit of Rangers to Meadowbank.
The ScottishPower Women’s Premier League leaders remain unbeaten domestically this season and arrive in EH7 in solid form.
Aware of the danger the Glasgow side possess, Taylor remains defiant that Hibs can stand up to the test if they commit to their principles.
“We all know they are a fantastic squad but we have belief as well that we are a really good squad.
“We have got the depth that [allows us to] implement our game plan, stick to what we know and play to our strengths.
“Rangers do like to play down the sides but we’ve got some fantastic wingers and full-backs. If it comes through the middle or down the sides, we will be prepared.
“They’ve got threats but it’s just about trying to limit that."
Taylor was one of several summer arrivals at HTC as Grant Scott’s side experienced a high turnover.
Despite the vast changes in personnel, there have been no issues regarding squad connection and on-pitch messaging according to the midfielder.
“I think coming from the goalkeeper and the defenders, there is a lot of communication there. As a midfielder, that makes your job much easier.
“Come Sunday, it’s going to take everybody, not just the goalkeeper or defenders, to perform.
"It’s everybody. Communication is key.”
