Bill Clinton mocks Trump at rally: Don't worry, I won't be 'swaying back and forth'

Former President Bill Clinton knocked Donald Trump's age while speaking in North Carolina on Friday.

"I don't have any more elections I'll be involved in, and I'm too old to gild the lily," Clinton told a crowd in Durham about his knack for helping Democrats get elected.

"Heck, I'm only two months younger than Donald Trump," Clinton continued as the audience roared with laughter and applause.

Clinton was born in August 1946 and Trump was born in June of that year.

"Look, good news for you is that I'm not going to spend 30 minutes swaying back and forth to the music," he said, and the audience laughed again.

"I played enough music. I will not clap off beat. Nor will I pretend to be a conductor?" Clinton promised. "Because we got a race to win, and we have to win it."

Rev. Al Sharpton responded to the comments by calling Trump "far more dangerous" now than in 2016. He said that just a few months ago, President Joe Biden wasn't doing any of that kind of behavior and there was a flood of demands for him to leave the race.

"You need to ask yourself honestly, why are you not saying that about Donald Trump, who has behaved in a way that Joe Biden never behaved and is an embarrassment to his party and his family. It seems that there's such understanding for Donald Trump that we didn't give to a far more able and far more competent Joe Biden in the same three or four-month period. So, what is really motivating you to support Trump? Is it his his misogyny? Is it his racism? What's the real reason?"

The long-time civil rights activist explained, "It couldn't be age and coherence when you have a man sitting up on the stage painting everybody from Pavarotti to rock and rollers, and he can't even dance. He just kind of weaves along and that's your idea of a president?"
