PVGP Makes the Shortlist for the Prestigious 2024 International Historic Motoring Awards

0

The International Historic Motoring Awards is the most prestigious, global awards night in the collector cars world, celebrating the achievements of people and organizations worldwide. Launched in 2011, the International Historic Motoring Awards is now back in the ownership of its original founders, Geoff Love and David Lillywhite of Hothouse Media. It has been relaunched for 2024, with more focused, global award categories and the stunning new venue of the Peninsula London Hotel.

‘The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is honored to be a finalist for the 2024 International Historic Motoring Awards. We are humbled to be in the company of so many other distinguished motorsport events’ said PVGP Executive Director Dan DelBianco.

The PVGP is a finalist for the Motorsport Event of the Year which is identified as ‘The world’s best motoring event, whether a festival, concours, one-marque gathering, anniversary celebration or other collector car show. Entrants to this category should demonstrate specific innovation, success or achievements’.

Press Release from IHMA:
The International Historic Motoring Awards (IHMA) has revealed its shortlist for 2024. Sixteen prestigious prizes are up for grabs, and the winners will be revealed at a ceremony and gala dinner at the Peninsula London hotel on November 22, 2024.

Launched in 2011, the International Historic Motoring Awards is now back in the ownership of its original founders, Geoff Love and David Lillywhite of Hothouse Media – the publishing house of Magneto and Octane magazines.

Revamped for 2024, the IHMA has received hundreds of nominations for 2024 from motoring experts, enthusiasts and personalities from around the globe.

The award categories encompass everything from exceptional restorations and world-class events to outstanding individual achievements.

Magneto readers will help decide the Car of the Year, one of the night’s most coveted awards, through public voting.

Around 400 guests will attend the glittering awards ceremony on November 22, and tickets for the event – which includes dinner and drinks – cost from £280 for a single admission and £2600 for a table of ten.

Tickets can also be booked at the official website, where there is information on all the awards, the judges and much more.
