China home prices fall at fastest rate since May 2015

China's new home prices dropped 5.8% year-on-year in September, the steepest decline since May 2015, despite efforts to boost the struggling property sector. This marks the 15th consecutive month of price decreases, with a 0.7% month-on-month decline, consistent with the previous month’s performance, according to official data.
