IND vs NZ: Rohit Sharma gets Advised by Former Indian cricketer to follow MS Dhoni’s ability

Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar said that Indian captain Rohit Sharma must follow MS Dhoni’s steps in anticipating and changing bowling combinations, since New Zealand has taken a massive lead.

65-run knock by Tim Southee and the century by Rachin Ravindra made sure that New Zealand had a big lead against India, which it did as the team posted 356-run lead over India in the second innings. Even though India dismissed 4 players earlier on in the game, Rachin and Southee were the main players in causing demolition in the later part of the game. Even though Southee got dismissed after scoring 65, Rachin continued on to score and helped the team post a total of 402.

Sanjay Manjrekar stated on ‘X’ that Dhoni possessed a special ability to change his bowling before the innings went out of hand. According to Sanjay, Rohit has to look out for this skill.

The visitors have currently posted a 356-run lead against the visitors and will aim to keep the lead as big as possible to win this match by an innings. On the other hand, India will not only be targeting to break this lead, but post a score of near 500 to get a chance to make a comeback in this match.
