OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — On Friday, Oklahoma City Thunder player, Isaiah Hartenstein, took 20 students from Positive Tomorrows to the movies.

Hartenstein and the Hartenstein Foundation brought students to the Flix Brewhouse to watch the movie "The Wild Robot," after they just finished reading a book about the movie.

"I'm here today just to give back to the kids again. Heard that they read the book about the movie so, I just wanted to give them a fun experience to kind of get away and just enjoy themselves," said Isaiah Hartenstein, Center for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Students were also treated to snacks and had lunch together.

Positive Tomorrows is a nonprofit and private school that gives free education and support services to both the children and families that are facing homelessness.

The nonprofit helps family members through personal development, finding housing and helping with other needs. They prepare the children of homeless families for future and long term success once they attend public schools.

"Today is a super exciting day, the kids at Positive Tomorrows have just finished reading The Wild Robot, and Isaiah is here to help them watch the movie today," said Margaret Creighton, president and CEO of Positive Tomorrows. "It's been so fun watching them ask him fun questions, say what they like about the book and all of their favorite things about reading. So its been a great time to share the love of reading with our kids."
