Hudson Falls man accused of having child sex abuse images
HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Hudson Falls man was arrested on Wednesday following a sex crime investigation. Robert Rowe, 66, is facing multiple felony charges.
Troopers say Rowe is accused of having and distributing images consistent with the sexual exploitation of a child. An investigation stemmed from a tip received through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
He was taken into custody after troopers, with the assistance of the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the Hudson Falls Police Department executed a search warrant of his home. Rowe was processed at the Queensbury State Police Barracks.
Charges:
- Promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony
- Possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony
Rowe was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Kingsbury Town Court for Oct. 23. He was released shortly after.
