OSBI arrests Waurika city manager on child sex abuse charges
WAURIKA, Okla. (KFOR) — On Thursday, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested the city manager of Waurika on child sex abuse charges.
OSBI says the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office requested assistance with a possible sex offense investigation in Waurika on January 8.
During the investigation, authorities identified 30-year-old Charles Kyote Dunn as a suspect in the case. Dunn serves as Waurika's city manager and as a reserve police officer for the Waurika Police Department.
OSBI special agent reportedly discovered several child sex abuse images on Dunn's electronic devices after serving a search warrant on January 11.
Dunn was arrested in Duncan by OSBI special agents on Thursday afternoon and booked into the Stephens County Jail.
The Jefferson County District Attorney has charged Dunn with possession and manufacture of child sex abuse material as well as loitering around residence to watch occupants.
