Lafayette man arrested in connection with Saturday shooting

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A Lafayette man is charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting Saturday night, authorities said.
Alcoby Zeno, 35, of Lafayette, is charged with attempted second degree murder.
Lafayette Police responded at 8:20 p.m. Saturday to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of Orchid Drive, and found a victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, authorities said.
Detectives identified the suspect as Zeno and were able to obtain an arrest warrant. LPD Special Investigators Unit was able to locate Zeno and place him under arrest for the active warrant Wednesday afternoon.
Bond details were not released.
