Taylor Swift Is Releasing The Eras Tour (Book Version)
Can you believe that the Eras Tour is actually almost over? The final leg of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking tour kicks off later this week in Miami and then … who knows. Reputation (Taylor’s Version)? A full-time commitment to the WAG lifestyle? Will she finally begin production on the feature film she’s supposed to be writing and directing? I’m getting ahead of myself. What’s important right now is that soon the Eras Tour will be over, and we’ll all need something to remember it by. No, the concert film isn’t enough!
Thankfully, Swift announced today that she’s releasing The Official Eras Tour Book as a Target exclusive on November 29. Now the tour can live on forever, not only on Disney+, YouTube, TikTok, and your own camera roll, but on your bookshelf as well. According to the promotional video, the book will feature “over 500 photographs from the tour, including never-before-seen performance and behind the scenes images.” In her announcement, Swift added that the book includes “my own personal reflections.” Intriguing.
We’ll be kicking off the final leg of The Eras Tour this week, which is hard to comprehend. How much will this glossy picture book run you? According to TMZ, $39.99. Cheaper than you might have thought, but still pretty pricey for a book full of photos of the most well-documented tour of all time. Maybe what you’re paying for are the bits of writing where Swift says things like “The first thing I knew about this tour was that it had to open with ‘Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince.’”
If you’re looking for something else to give the young Swiftie in your life this Christmas, Swift is also releasing The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD. That’s the version of the album with 31 tracks on it, but this physical release will have 35! Does that mean there are four new songs? Probably! You don’t get to billionaire status without a few exclusive tracks up your sleeve.
